Summer Swing

Standard

Summer went by way too Fast! Before I knew it we hit school year and I was not ready for my little boy to start school. Every week was busy and I didn’t get a picture of everything between doing the R.A.M.P. stuff here in Ogden and family events I was living summer week by week.

APRIL

We finished up projects and worked on finishing up school

MAY

JUNE

J birthday was simple and I asked him if he wanted a fancy cake or if he wanted to decorate his own. Can you guess what he picked? I can’t believe how fast time has flown. J is sweet, valiant, silly, compassionate, athletic, smart, kind, and I love more then I thought was possible. His favorite color is blue, cereal is his favorite “meal”, he prefers chocolate, his dad is his favorite person and if you love him you will play games with him all day long. He is also my little fish showing no fear when it comes to water and swimming

JULY

While the most of the Summer was week by week, July was an exception, it was a day by day, so much so I didn’t get as many photos. We went and stayed with Audrey, celebrated the 4th with cousins, went to the Closner family reunion, we camped, entertained Nora our friend from Germany, kid sat cousins, and just tried to breathe. Jami and I always seem to get our birthdays celebrated over a family reunion one way or another and so they were spent traveling or getting ready to travel. I feel terrible I didn’t make Jami a cake but we had planned to be on the road so he got a microwave brownie (which he probably preferred). I love that man so much,

I could not think of a better person. He is kind, forgiving, generous, patient, funny, and one heck of a guy. I totally lucked out!

August

Oh man! We played games with Seth, had Ian come over for dinner, went swimming with Beth, ran in a Bubble Run, did the Ott Planetarium science day, had a sleepover at Grandma and Grandpas, ward party, Treehouse museum, kayaked with Grandma LeeAnn, and antelope island.

J Started School! I didn’t know how I was going to react but he was a champ and was excited to start. I did okay, I didn’t cry but I did feel like our house was WAY to quiet and was ready to pick him. L and LL missed him too.
