Happy Birthday to this wonderful little boy if mine! I sure do love him. He is self motivated, the best at doing his chores and loves to play games and spend time with daddy. He prefers math to reading, is an early riser, gets upset if daddy eats all the cereal, likes paw patrol, ninja turtles, blue, wild kratts, “funny kid shows”, dude perfect, and always wants friends to play with. One day he had a melt done because I wouldn’t let him be in charge, he is sensitive and although he doesn’t always want my hugs humors me.He looks out for his sisters and requested “cheesey chips” for his birthday meal. His birthday lasted all weekend because we made a cake on Thursday but because Jami is out at the house working we said we would celebrate the next day. Friday we went to the Hatches and swam in their pool, played and had a Jamie Hatch original cake, and then Grandma LeeAnn came up and took him to lunch Saturday

June

We started our house! Jami is tired but loving it, I think. We went hiking to the Ogden waterfall and while there were a lot of people there (which is still a little weird because of covid) we had a good time and the kids were troopers. LL finally said “Mama” and made my week, she now says mama, dad, and uh-oh. L learned to count to 20. J has gotten pretty good learning to read

May

Pig tails! LL hair is long enough we can pull them up L calls them puppy ears and requests for that hair do every day. I have been trying to keep the kids entertained so we did kites and made pinwheels that were a big hit. Grandma LeeAnn came and we have sure missed our grandparents but also want to keep them safe from covid. Jameson finished kindergarten online and they did a drive through graduation. We also have went to Mantua and threw rocks in the lake and walked around. Jami and I are terrible at remembering our anniversary and totally forgot this year until my sister in law sent us a text, so we celebrated a week later by getting take out to a park and going to the home depot to house dream, I have also been reading a lot of relationship books and  have enjoyed the time I have been putting into it.

April has been interesting, with covid-19 we have been doing church at home, I have a new respect for singing time leaders. But it was also filled with thoughtfulness, Grandma Jo gave use a picnic table and we use it frequently, we walk to school and pick up the sack breakfast and lunches, and enjoy the weather. Grandma LeeAnn dropped off Easter outfits, and Lila wants to wear it on more then Sunday. Easter felt off without church or Easter egg hunts to go on. But the kids had fun finding eggs and requested bunny pancakes. LL doesn’t say much and still doesn’t sleep through the night and she has fewer teeth then her cousin who is 6 months younger, she loves books and has out used a third of them . L loves doing home school and asks to do it first, she has learned the ABC song and loves to sing all day. J started piano lessons and likes it quite a bit, he misses school and friends but understands when mom says we can’t do something he tells me “oh, yeah because of covid, huh mom”. He hopes it will be over for his birthday. I go a little stir crazy staying home all day every day and so we broke out the bikes and got a garden box, which has helped me some. Jami has been working from home, he misses the social situation at work and I think would like to go back, but I enjoy having him home.
